3 Minutes to Understand What AI Is and Why Learning to Code Matters More Than Ever

It’s undeniable—AI is the future. It's fair to say that AI will accelerate innovation across all industries and transform the way we live, work, and communicate. With that in mind, how should we embrace this powerful new wave of technology?

What Is Artificial Intelligence?

In one sentence, artificial intelligence (AI) refers to machines or systems that simulate human thinking and behavior.

Is ChatGPT Considered AI?

One of the most talked-about AI tools is undoubtedly ChatGPT. It interacts with users in a human-like way—generating content, answering questions, and gathering information from various sources in seconds. ChatGPT is a language model developed by OpenAI. The name stands for Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer. As the model evolves, ChatGPT has learned from massive amounts of data to better understand users’ thought processes—even making accurate guesses when users make typos.

Why Coding—Especially Python—Matters in the Age of AI?

As AI becomes more deeply integrated into our lives, the ability to understand and work with the technology behind it is becoming a highly valuable skill. This is where coding comes in.

Learning to code is no longer just for software engineers—it’s a foundational skill that opens doors in fields like data analysis, automation, digital marketing, business intelligence, and, of course, AI development itself.

Among all programming languages, Python stands out. It’s widely considered the best language to start with because of its:

• Easy-to-read syntax

• Powerful libraries for data and AI (like NumPy, pandas, TensorFlow, and PyTorch)

• Massive community support and learning resources

Whether you want to automate tasks, analyze large datasets, or build your own AI-powered tools, having a solid foundation in Python gives you a huge advantage in today’s job market and tomorrow’s economy.
